Spotted Lanternfly Concerns Increasing

The spotted lanternfly continues to destroy plants and fruit trees throughout the northeast, and Mifflin and Juniata Counties are feeling the damage. Karen Haas, the local Penn State Agricultural Extension coordinator, talked about it Tuesday at the meeting of the Juniata County Commissioners. She said the spotted lanternfly has no natural predators. If you see one, you should immediately report it by calling 888-422-3359.
