According to unofficial primary election results, Jonathan Reed received the Republican nomination for Judge of the Court of Common Pleas 58th Judicial District, with 2,832 of 6,252 total votes on the primary ballot. Reed was also the top vote getter on the Democratic ballot, receiving 745 of 1,710 total votes. If elected in November’s primary, Reed will fill a seat vacated by Judge David Barron and will serve a 10-year term.

Andrea Alcalde received the Republican nomination for coroner, according to the still unofficial election results. Alcalde received 3,390 votes out of 6,119 total votes.
If elected in the general election in November, she will serve a four-year term.

Noah Wise was the top Republican vote getter in Mifflin County’s Board of School Directors race. Unofficial results show that Wise received 3,397 of 22,624 total votes. Voters were asked to select five candidates on the ballot. Paula Dickson received 2,743 votes while Frederick Nickel received 2,720 votes. Zeb Harshbarger received 2,455 votes and E. Terry Styers received 2,352 votes. On the Democratic side, Mary Lou Sigler was the top vote getter with 1,130 of 5,189 total votes with Dianne Shearer following closely behind with 1,126. E. Terry Styers received 1,031 votes, Danica Laub received 1,000 and Wise received 775. Five Candidates elected in November will serve a four-year term

In the race for Juniata County Commissioner, Todd Graybill and Alice Gray received the Republican nomination in Tuesday’s primary… that according to unofficial results. Graybill received 2,330 of 5,004 total votes and Gray received 1,961 votes.
Mark Partner and Chris Casner received Democratic the nominations for Juniata County Commissioner. According to unofficial results, Partner received 655 of 1,495 votes while Casner received 464 votes. If elected in November, Graybill will serve his third term as a county commissioner.

In the race for Lewistown Borough Councils, Stephen Knudson received the most votes according to unofficial results. Knudson received 482 of 2,318 total votes. Bob Barlett received 404 of 2,318 total votes. No democrats were listed on the ballot.
