A young man from McClure is accused of breaking into an occupied apartment while those inside were watching a movie. State Police at Selinsgrove, say 18 year old Collin Hoffman was accompanied by 3 others… including a 15 year old boy…when they broke into a the home on Walker Stret in McClure early Monday… around 2:45am. They were immediately confronted by one of the residents… Jason Ressler… who attacked them with a baseball bat… hitting one of them in the head. The four fled in a gray Toyota, but they left behind a cell phone and a flip flop. Police were called, and they immediately contacted area hospitals looking for anyone with a head wound. They learned a 15-year-old boy had arrived at one area hospital with a severe head injury and was with two other males. Troopers interviewed Hoffman, and then took him into custody on charges including felony burglary; criminal trespassing; loitering; and corruption of minors. He was sent to the Snyder County Prison in lieu of $20,000 cash bail.
