Another candidate has announced plans to run for a seat on Lewistown Borough Council. Matt Moore was born in 1964 and has been a life long Lewistown resident. He is a 1984 graduate of Lewistown Area High School and the former Mifflin-Juniata Vo-Tech School, currently known as Mifflin County Academy of Science and Technology. That’s where he studied electronics. He and his wife of 19 years live in Lewistown with their three sons. He is currently employed by Philips Ultrasound in their IT department. He has experience, having served in the past on Lewistown Borough Council. Moore is running for a 4-year term on the Republican ticket, but he is also asking supporting Democrats to write in his name.
