A big honor for one Mifflin County farmer… Steve Long of Mifflin has been chosen as the 2022 Farmer of the Year at the Juniata County Fair. Long has been at it a long time too… at the young age of 20, he stepped up and took over the family dairy farm after the death of his father. He was just one of many who were nominated for the award. Long is a father, son, brother, husband and grandfather, who says he now enjoys teaching his grandsons about farming.
