The realignment of two of Mifflin County’s three magisterial district courts… which was approved last October… goes into effect on October 4th. It was brought about in an effort to balance case load between the three courts. It means effective October 4th, three boroughs and three townships will move from Judge Miller’s district to Judge Smith’s district. Judge Miller’s court will however, retain all cases filed prior to October 4th through disposition and collection.
