An ER doctor who stood on the front lines at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital for 26 years, has now retired. Dr. Edward Bzik can now be found often on the front lines of a pickleball court at the State College YMCA. He is now 68 years old, and he says he decided to retire this summer after 26 years of serving as an emergency department director because, as he put it, “The time was right.”
